The first
grass course in the Middle East and favored venue of the PGA
European Tour event, Emirates Golf Club has become a favourite
of the world’s top players.
The Majlis
Championship course is a challenging par 72, 7101-yard course.
Sculptured around the original tall desert dunes in 1987,
The Majlis was the first grass course in the Middle East and
takes its name from the Arabic for ‘meeting place’.
The Wadi
Course was opened in 1996 and was christened ‘The Wadi’, taken
from the Arabic for ‘valley’. A landscaped wadi between the
7th and 8th holes highlights the traditional name given to
this course. The Wadi continues in the same vein as The Majlis
with its undulating fairways and landscape.
A Golf
Academy operates featuring high-tech video swing analysis,
flood lit driving range & putting green with flexible programs
geared to suit your requirements run by PGA qualified golf
professionals.
Venue
of the PGA-sanctioned European Tour event, the Dubai Desert
Classic. The signature clubhouse at the Emirates Golf Club
– modeled like Bedouin tents.
